This witty allegory of the Watergate scandal tells of the desperate attempt of three bank officers to cover a huge loss by robbing themselves.

Having trouble with a bank? Can't get a loan? Credit card payments never end? Don't worry. Just borrow some money from Pewter Bank and Trust. The bank's chief clerk, on a bet, embezzles money from the bank. The bank president and his Vice President are covering it up before the bank examiner arrives.

This may not have been the best movie, but it does show that Richard Basehart was good at comedy. It is too bad that he didn't do more.
